The Flint River Astronomy Club meets the 2nd Thursday of each month
at "the Gardens" of the Georgia Experiment Station/University of Georgia 7:30pm.

See the Moon through a Telescope

Thursday, October 8th
7:00pm - 10:00pm

Our speaker, Dr. Richard Schmude of Gordon State College, will talk about the planet Mercury.

We will show you the moon
and any other visible object in the sky.

Directions to "the Gardens"
At the intersection of Business 41/19 and Ellis Road, go west on Ellis Road.  About 100 yards from the intersection you will see a stone wall and iron gates.  This is the entrance to "the Gardens" or "Agricultural & Environmental Sciences" and "Research & Education Garden".  Our meeting place is the first building on the left.
